Section 1. General

The Board of Directors may appoint committees as deemed appropriate in carrying out its purpose, and shall appoint an Architectural Review Committee as set forth in the Declaration. Each committee shall be composed of and shall operate in accordance with the terms of the resolution of the Board establishing the committee, any rules adopted by the Board, and in compliance with Va. Code Ann. § 13.1-869. The Board shall appoint the Chair of each committee.  To be eligible to be appointed, and to continue to serve, all committee members shall not have any financial obligation due the Association that is more than sixty (60) days in arrears and shall not have any violation of the Governing Documents that has not been remedied in the time permitted by the Association. Committee members shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.
