6.12 Solar Devices

No artificial or man-made device which is designed or used for collection of or heating by solar energy or other similar purposes (“Solar Energy Collection Device”) shall be placed, allowed, or maintained upon any portion of the Properties, including any Dwelling Unit, without the prior written consent of the ARC.  The ARC has the authority to prohibit Solar Energy Collection Devices on any Lot or Parcel that are visible from the street view or on the front of any Dwelling Unit.  Lighting for landscaping or walkways that is solar-powered is permitted as set forth in the Purchaser’s Handbook.
