FCHOA Facilities & Amenities Rules & Regulations - Revision Date: 2023-09-28
There are three physical locations: The S&T Club, located at 165 St. Andrews Drive; Westbury Park, located at 230 Westbury Hills; Community Services Building, located at 100 Manchester, Williamsburg VA, 23188.
1. Swim and Tennis Club (S&T Club) - 165 St. Andrews Drive
a. The S&T Club includes a clubhouse with patio/terrace, 25-meter swimming pool with one-lane designated for lap swim, a wading pool, men’s and women’s restrooms, open outdoor shower, playground, two hard-surface tennis courts, six pickleball courts, a basketball hoop at the bottom of the parking lot. One-hundred seven (107) marked parking spaces including 9 handicapped-accessible parking spaces. Overflow parking is available across the street at the Community Services Building, with 63 parking spaces.
b. The S&T Club facility includes a multi-purpose room of 3,200 total square feet with maximum occupancy of 275 which can be partitioned into two sections of2,000 square feet and 1,200 square feet. It also has a full kitchen, library/meeting room, card/meeting room, custodial office, men’s and women’s restrooms, storage closet with storage cabinets, A/V room, cloak room and ARM’s office.
c. Equipment available for use in the S&T Club facility includes tables (rectangular, card and round), chairs, easels, audio/visual components (portable and permanent overhead projector, laptop computer and sound system), and kitchen appliances/utensils, includes refrigerator/freezers; a stovetop; microwave ovens; double ovens; and gas grills located on the patio/terrace area. Available tables and chairs are noted on the Exhibits.
2. Westbury Park - 230 Westbury Hills
a. Westbury Park has an eight-lane, 25-meter pool with a zero-depth entry into the pool, pool slide, an open-air pavilion, 6 picnic tables as well as additional tables and chairs; gas grills, one (grass) volleyball court, 6 soft-surfaced tennis courts, a multi-use field that includes a softball diamond, a playground, two basketball hoops, bocce court and 66-marked parking spaces including 6 handicapped-accessible parking spaces. Weather permitted; the basketball court, street and multi-use field may be used for additional parking. Approximately 50 vehicles may be parked diagonally along Westbury Hills between the parking lot and Quaker Ridge, including parallel parking along Quaker Ridge. Approximately, 130vehicles can be parked on the multi-use field without using the softball diamond.
b. The enclosed facilities at Westbury Park includes women’s and men’s restrooms, each with a shower; a pool pump room; storage shed; a multi-use room that includes a sink with hot and cold water, refrigerator/freezer, vending machine space and a lifeguard staff office.
3. Community Services Building (CSB) - 100 Manchester
a. The CSB Exercise Studio is 1,350 square feet, with an open floor plan used by the clubs and interest groups. Sound system, DVD player, monitor and chairs are available for use. One restroom adjacent to the room is available for use.
b. CSB Meeting Rooms A & B are used for Board and Standing Committee Meetings. These rooms have both audio-visual equipment and a white board. Standard capacity conference-style seating for 10 people; standard capacity seating in CSB B is conference-style seating between 12 and14 people with additional seating of about 15 chairs around perimeter of room or up to 30 chairs in auditorium seating.
c. RV Storage is an amenity for access and storage of recreational vehicles such as boats, motorhomes, and trailers. This property is meant for access, storage and minimal maintenance only to the recreational vehicles. Oil and filter changes for example are not permitted. Leisure or social activities within the yard is prohibited. There are 81 spaces and ten of those spaces have electrical hook-up.
d. FCHOA Administrative and Management Agent offices are located in the Community Services Building.
4. Leisure & Nature Trails
a. The Leisure Trail is 12 miles of paved paths throughout Ford’s Colony.
b. The Nature Trail is 1.3 miles of walking paths throughout an area of Ford’s Colony where many different species of plants and wildlife may be seen.
c. Leisure trails are shared by walkers, joggers, bicyclists and a variety of motorized/electric devices. Users of the trail should be cautious when approaching other users from behind, and should announce when approaching. The Nature trail is not designed for motorized or electric devices.
d. Ford’s Colony Country Club (FCCC) cart paths are not included and are available only to those playing golf.
