C. Scheduling

FCHOA Facilities & Amenities Rules & Regulations - Revision Date: 2023-09-28


1.     Except as noted in C. 5., any use of the facilities must be scheduled in advance through the Activities and Recreation Manager. Sole remedy for a cancellation by the Manager is a refund of fees/deposits.


2.     The Activities and Recreation Manager may schedule Permitted Uses specifically set forth in Section II. B. 1-4, except for Charity or Exception requests which require ACEB approval.


3.     Reservations for Family/Social/Private Functions defined in Section II. B. 4, may not be made earlier than six months in advance (except wedding receptions). No Family/Social/Private Functions will be scheduled on Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day weekend, Labor Day weekend or other holidays designated by the ACEB.


4.     Requests for use by FCHOA members for non-specified uses as provided in Section II. C. and D, may be made no more than three months in advance of the desired use date, to the ARM who must submit the request, within one week of receiving the request, to the ACEB for approval.


5.     Requests for use by FCHOA members for a Business, Charity or Private Outside Organization Function use as provided in Section II B. 5., may be made no more than one-month in advance of the desired use date. (It should be noted that all Business, Charity, or Private Outside Organization Functions requests are considered only after scheduling of Family, Social and Private Functions.)


6.     If not otherwise in use, the library and small meeting rooms are open to individual FCHOA members for personal use, such as reading or card playing. Anyone using the facilities for these purposes will be asked to vacate the room for scheduled events.


7.     Requests for use by Business, Charity or Private Outside Organizations, as specified in Section II. B. 5a., must be submitted in writing each calendar year.
