C. Courts: Tennis, Pickleball, Bocce, Basketball, Volleyball

1. Description
a. The S&T Club includes two hard-surface tennis courts and six hard-surface pickleball courts. When playing pickleball at the S&T, designated quiet paddles and balls are required for use. These courts are open for use during daylight hours and year-round. There is an observation deck between the tennis and pickleball courts. Additionally, there is a single basketball goal and it is located at the bottom of the S&T parking lot. It is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and users must provide their own ball
b. Westbury Park has six soft-surface tennis courts and no pickleball courts. The courts include a small pad and cover between courts available for spectators and tennis socials. Courts are open fo ruse during daylight hours, and may be closed in the winter months, during adverse weather conditions, or when the surface is too wet. A tennis backboard is also available at the Westbury Park courts for practice.
c. The outdoor Bocce court is located at Westbury Park and is available during daylight hours and year-round. The court is open and accessible to all FCHOA members.
d. The outdoor volleyball court is located on the grassy area next to the Westbury Park pavilion. Play is based on a first-come, first-serve basis, and is seasonal, based on the pool schedule.
e. There are two basketball goals located at Westbury Park. This court is available during daylight hours and can be used year-round on a first-come, first-serve basis. Users must provide their own ball. Bearing body weight on the goal rim is not permitted. Patrons can adjust the goal height.
f. The softball field at Westbury Park is available during daylight hours on a first-come, first-serve basis, except when in use by the FCHOA Softball club.
g. No pets at any time are allowed on the tennis, pickleball or bocce courts. No practice equipment is permitted on the soft-surface tennis courts.
2. Tennis, Pickleball and Bocce Court Availability for FCHOA Member Play
a. FCHOA tennis, pickleball and bocce courts are open and accessible to all FCHOA members on an equal but scheduled basis.
b. Tennis, Pickleball and Bocce Clubs are dedicated to encouraging and promoting play that maximizes the use of these courts.
c. To promote and encourage such maximum play, the Clubs are responsible for overall scheduling through their particular club reservation system. There may be an online reservation system or App to make reservations. Refer to the fchoa.org website. Time allotted for Club members play will have priority.
d. Any FCHOA member (without regard to membership in these Clubs) may reserve court time, except for designated club play times. Refer to fchoa.org website for details.
e. The online reservation system or App governs and allocates playing time for all FCHOA members.
3. Court Reservations
a. Tennis Club court reservations may be made by going to fchoa.org and under the Directories tab, click on S&T or WP Club Online Court Reservation System to book any open court space. Pickleball Club court reservations may be made by using the Pickleball App. Play on the bocce court is on a first-come, first-serve basis, unless the club is using it for friendly matches or club competitions.
b. Marriott Manor Club tennis courts, located on St. Andrews Drive, may be used, if available, and not occupied with Marriott guests; based on a first-come-first serve basis.
4. Court Usage
a. For tennis, when others are waiting, singles play will be limited to one-hour and doubles play will be limited to two-hours. For pickleball and bocce, games are rotational.
b. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller blades or other games, or animals, are not permitted on any courts, at any time.
c. Guest players must be accompanied by an FCHOA member.
d. FCHOA members may host outside groups provided that an application to use FCHOA Facilities, (available in the S&T Club Office or fchoa.org website) has been submitted and the applicable fees are paid per Exhibit I and II. The Activities and Recreation Manager will coordinate timing with the clubs to avoid conflicts.
5. Etiquette and Attire
a. Proper court etiquette shall always be observed. Non-players shall remain off the playing surface while play is in progress.
Proper attire, including shirts, shorts/skirts/pants and smooth, non-marking shoes (no black-soled shoes) are allowed on the court surfaces.
